Lately, I’ve been obsessed with Vlogs. I kinda forgot about them honestly but this wild year has brought them back into my life. So, I thought I’d share my own version of vlog (picture log? plog?).
I start every morning with bible reading since I’m trying to read the Bible in a year. I usually read on the app I’m using but on the weekends I take the time to actually open my bible. I’ve also been loving my Write the Word journal, it’s really helping me slow down and dive into a few verses at a time.
My favorite part of the weekend is sleeping in a bit and lounging around in the morning. I usually make a ‘fancy coffee’ with frothed milk and read a book, scroll through Pinterest or journal. When I think about self-care, this time each week comes to mind. It’s so peaceful and calm.
Next up, I hit the vintage store! I can easily kill a couple hours wandering around and dreaming of all the years gone past. I wasn’t really looking for anything specific this time around. But, I think the white wire chair would look perfect at my dining table…
I treated myself to my favorite combo ever: ice cream + nitro cold brew float. If you are local, Smith + Canon is where it’s at!
When I got back, I had a package from Dropps, a zero waste laundry and dishwasher pod company. I love how all the packaging is recyclable and their sustainable values. I needed more laundry pods so I picked some up and since I was already ordering grabbed the dishwasher ones too. They both work really well and make everything smell nice. The dishwasher ones work better than the other pods I was using so that’s a major plus! If you want to try them out & save a little money, I do have a code for you! Using this link, you can get $15 off a $30+ order. (this isn’t sponsored, just thought it was a cool company to pass along to you!)
Then I pretty much spent the rest of the day cleaning my apartment so I could take pictures of it for my studio tour post. I think my little apartment cleans up nice, and thankful it doesn’t take long to make it really sparkle!
For dinner, I ordered takeout sushi from Fontana Sushi and binged Bridgerton because why not! I think the vintage shopping made me wish for a different era.
And there you have it, a day in my life!
